Psychotherapeutic Work

Geralyn utilises Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy to create dynamic Psychic change within the individual  towards a deeper understanding of profound emotional difficulties. She has helped patients to gain an intimate knowledge of their unconscious inner world, and facilitated a recognition of how this impacts upon their day-to-day relationships. She  provides a consistent, reliable and safe space in which an individual can begin to develop the confidence required to be able to express and explore their deepest concerns.

Psychotherapeutic Experience and Areas of Interest

Geralyn has worked with many patients who are also under Psychiatric care, having trained and worked as an Honorary therapist at Centre for Psychotherapy Knockbracken, Belfast UK, 2007 – 2015.

In addition she has collaborated effectively in multi-disciplinary settings, including engagement with Juvenile Justice, the Criminal Justice system, and Probation through the private practice of Psychotherapy.

Forensic Profiling of all clients/patients and the Preparation and delivery of court reports as an expert witness when required have been a flavour.
